Pitchin’ up for a great cause always brightens our day
D’ya know that feeling when you lift the winner’s trophy be it for sports, for baking, for singing – whatever it is that gives you your morning motivation to get on out there and take the world by its balls. Well, that’s just how we’re feeling right now. We’ve just received the biggest accolade there is (and to us it really does mean so much) – a heartfelt thanks from one of our amazing fans.
National Association of Medical Schools hosted an incredible, thousands-strong charity football match recently at the impressive Wyncote Sports Grounds, Liverpool, all in aid of raising much needed funds and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust.
We were delighted to pitch up and offer a warming and relaxing tipi retreat with seating for 72 weary team members lovingly spread around the soothing open fire-pit after the teams’ gruelling knock-out matches.
The teams worked their socks off and battled hard for that coveted winner’s crown. The victors on the day were Sheffield Medics FC who won the men’s final on penalties and Leeds who won the women’s final – great success for our northern teams I think you’ll agree?

Nothing compares (yes, nothing compares to you – don’t mind if I do Sinead) to the overwhelming and amazing words of gratitude from the event organiser which sweetly pinged into my inbox (and forever my heart) this morning.
I would recommend Tipi Unique to anyone! The initial consultations on the phone to ensure I had everything I wanted to the putting up of the tipi was perfect! Everyone loved the tipi and didn’t want to come out of it. Really glad I chose you. And thanks for helping out a good cause! Thank you x.

What a uplifting email, thanks Joyce. We were honoured to ‘be on the pitch’ with you to create a haven for the real stars of the day. Hurrah and cheers from us to those who’d given their time, effort and donations to making this event a huge success. And, ultimately bettering the lives of teenagers battling with cancer every day across the UK.
