Paul & Rebecca’s Champagne Wedding

A little while ago we had the absolute pleasure of creating Paul and Rebecca’s gorgeous garden tipi wedding. Their celebration beautifully portrayed all of their beliefs and values, while simultaneously highlighting the importance of family and friends. It was a day just filled with happiness, laughter, and those who meant the most.

We had such admiration for Paul and Bec’s clear focus on what they wanted to achieve.

Their main aim was to dismiss any traditional wedding regulations, and to pay homage to all that is unique, relaxed, personal and bursting with character. Paul and Bec were amidst the transformation of their garden, whilst juggling the all-important wedding planning. During our very first meeting with the couple we completely understood their vision, even in its infancy we knew that we could make all of their dreams come to life. By the time the garden was finished, it was barely recognisable to what we’d seen at previous meetings, they had totally re-vamped their space -making it a gorgeous setting for a tipi wedding.

Paul and Rebecca were amidst the transformation of their garden, whilst juggling the all-important wedding planning. We had such admiration for their clear focus on what they wanted to achieve. The main aim was to dismiss any traditional wedding regulations, and to pay homage to all that is unique, relaxed, personal and bursting with character… without it costing the earth! During our very first meeting with the couple we completely understood their vision (even in its infancy), and we knew that we could make all of their dreams come to life. We were able to offer lower cost options to suit their requests, which didn’t have to compromise the quality and experience of their special day.
By the time the garden was finished, it was barely recognisable to what we’d seen at previous meetings – they had totally re-vamped their space! It was just the perfect setting for an intimate and gorgeous tipi wedding.

The occasional drizzle went completely unnoticed as guests were too busy drinking, dancing and revealing in new and lasting memories. Paul and Rebecca re-arranged their furnishing throughout the day, to achieve different atmospheres and to transform the party from day to night. The innovate use of an outdoor chill-out area gave scope to provide extra seating for guests. As day fell to night our decorative lighting and the flames from the fire pits could be seen

After tying the knot at a local Abbey, Paul, Rebecca and guests alike retreated to their own private tipi reception, all in the comfort of their own home! One of our giant tipis was home to the main party space, with sufficient room for a fire pit, guest seating, a bar and even a projection screen for the speeches. The attention to detail was incredible and the garden throughout was personalised with hand-crafted DIY décor, which reflected the artistic side of the couple. Delicate hanging lanterns, garden games, our wooden beer troughs, and a Photo Booth were amongst the unique additions which complemented the rustic and relaxed vibes.

Our Ohana wedding tipi was a late addition to Paul and Rebecca’s plans. We advised that it could be useful to maximise the total space, and to help with the overall flow of the day. It was predominantly used as a quirky bar area, which allowed for stunning first impressions and created the perfect space to display welcome drinks.

Paul and Rebecca re-arranged their furnishing throughout the day to achieve alternative atmospheres, and to transform the party from a daytime celebration to an evening party. The innovate use of an outdoor chill-out area gave scope to provide extra seating for guests, while our large fire pit (protected by a glass safety guard), invited little ones to toast and enjoy melted marshmallows. The occasional drizzle went completely unnoticed as guests were too busy drinking, dancing and revelling in new and lasting memories. As day fell to night, our decorative lighting and the dancing flames gave the perfect romantic ambience for the newly-weds and guests to rejoice in.

We felt extremely humbled to have met such lovely people, and to have been able to support their wedding from start to finish. It was one of the most beautiful weddings to have been a part of, and we are so grateful that they chose our company to help deliver their big day.
All of the precious moments and details were captured by the talented Sarita White Photography – definitely go and check her out!
We wish Paul and Rebecca every happiness!
